Family Support Group

CAFAMH facilitates family support groups every 4th Tuesday of each month for caregivers of people with mental illness. Our meetings provide a safe space for caregivers to meet and connect with peers. The group also includes a psychoeducational component, which is tailored to fit the Chinese population in New York City. CAFAMH aims to help community members feel less isolated and informed about a range of mental health topics and coping strategies such as How to Communicate Effectively with Someone with Doesn’t Want Help and Self Care.
